All spiritual disciplines would like us to think (or believe!) that there may be some way to reconcile that (99% of) humans are nothing but parasites on this planet! For we take and we take without ever really giving ANYTHING back to the GREAT MOTHER EARTH! She has provided us with EVERYTHING that we have ever had and all we have to give her is our waste! There is no spiritual discipline, that I know of, that teaches its disciples how to be the most nurturing, compassionate, reciprocating creatures to this planet.* This would be a great religion to start!
*There are a few environmentally conscientious cultures.
