On Vision Navigation

The view outside the ship’s window reveals the scenery outside the ship.

If the ship was to enter into an unknown region of space, unlike any other place it had ever been before, the captain and the crew must not get distracted by the unfamiliar territory and scenery….

To the contrary, the captain and the crew must keep their senses and continue to navigate the ship.

No matter how intensely distracting the unfamiliar scenery is or how difficult it feels to stay on course in unfamiliar terrain, the purpose is to pilot the ship and stay in control through all the obstacles of the journey, whether known or unknown, onward through, towards a destination.

The shaman is never a passenger on the ship. A shaman is the visionary pilot, a master at piloting the ship through the visions.
